The Sanctuary Within Reach

A sanctuary can be as close as the first ten minutes of your morning, a corner of your bathroom, or the candle you light before dinner. It is any moment you choose to meet with care.

The ritual matters as much as the product. The pause, the touch, the attention. That is where beauty and wellbeing truly begin.

Here I share the small daily rituals that turn ordinary moments into sacred ones, and the pieces from our collection that I love to bring into them.

The Face Ritual

In a few words: An evening ritual of facial oil and a smooth gua sha stone, inspired by a centuries-old Chinese tradition, to soften the face, release the day and give yourself a few minutes of pure care.

How I use it: After cleansing, I warm three or four drops of my Enodia Elixir face oil between my palms and press them gently into my face and neck. Then I hold the gua sha almost flat against the skin and glide it slowly outward and upward: from the center of the chin along the jawline, from the nose across the cheekbones, from between the brows across the forehead. Three to five soft strokes in each place, always with a light touch and enough oil for the stone to glide.

How I pair it: With a deep, slow breath between each area, and a favorite scent in the room. It turns five minutes into the most peaceful part of the evening.

A little secret: Keep your gua sha in the refrigerator. In the morning, a few cool strokes over the face feel wonderfully fresh and help the face look more awake.
